This tea towel is one of my favorites because it has not one but two weavings as motifs. It’ screen printed using a clay paste resist and dipped in indigo for a royal blue. The printed motifs are inspired by Kristy’s weaving and rope necklaces. The woven motifs are stencils made of two band weavings created in 2022. The weaving inspiration can be seen in the second and third images.
